Description: Akagi Wheat Dried Somen Noodles 270g. A packet of delicious dried wheat somen noodles from Japan. These noodles are very quick to cook, but are best served cold with a bonito-based dipping sauce. The noodles can also be used as an instant noodle and simmer the noodles in stock with mushrooms, meat and vegetables.
Tuk Tuk Method: To cook the noodles: 1. Bring a pan of water to boil (for 90g noodles use 1l of water) Add noodles to the pan and simmer for 3 minutes Drain and wash immediately in cold water. Serve cold with a dipping sauce (tsuyu), a blend of dashi stock, soy sauce and sweet mirin rice wine.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
