Offering incredible savoury depth through the combined rich flavours of grilled flying fish, bonito and mackerel flakes, a final splash of kombu kelp dashi, mirin and sake reduces any overpowering seafood smells, whilst refining this flavoursome tsuyu. Mellow enough to simply drizzle over vegetable side dishes, the delicious, adaptable qualities of this tsuyu make seasoning noodle soups, simmered dishes, rice and even karaage a delight.

Tuk Tuk Method:Preparing dishes with this tsuyu soup base requires you measure as follows: For noodle soups add 1 part tsuyu for every 5 parts hot water. For dipping sauces add 1 part tsuyu for every 2 parts cold water. For stir-fried rice dishes use 1 part tsuyu for every 4 parts hot water. For simmering sauces add 1 part tsuyu for every 5 parts hot water. For ohitashi vegetable side dishes, serve this tsuyu straight as a condiment for each completed dish. For seasoning tempura or karaage, use one tablespoon (15ml) per 100 g of ingredients used.
