Description: Mae Ploy Tom Yum Paste 1kg. Use Mae Ploy’s paste to make Tom Yum soup, a Thai broth commonly served with seafood and mushrooms. This paste is a perfect blend of lemongrass, chilli, galangal, tamarind and kaffir lime peel, which together create the distinct hot, sour, sweet tom yum flavour. The shrimp paste and fish sauce add extra umami depth.
Tuk Tuk Method: Simply stir the paste into boiling water, add your seafood and/or vegetables, add lime juice and enjoy! One cup of water may be replaced with one cup of coconut milk to get a thick Tom Yum soup.

Enjoy!
This is the real deal, fantastic tom yum. Correct authentic ingredients give it such a good flavour of prawn and all the herbs spices. So moorish. Put seafood of any kind in this, prawns, squid, pieces of fish and / or veg and its so good. Havent tried it with coconut milk yet instead of water, thats next!
Lovely balance of spices and taste. Not too sour and very convenient to make a quick soup meal with any seafood or cooked meats.
