INGREDIENTS YOU WILL NEED

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. First, brew jasmine tea bags with 4 cups of hot water. Allow the tea to steep as you prepare your other ingredients.
  2. Bring 5 to 6 cups of water to boil. Add the tapioca pearls and cook according to package directions.  The tapioca pearls should be floating when they're done. Place the cooked pearls into a bowl of ice water. Test the pearls to see if they are ready, as they should now be soft and chewy. If they are still hard on the inside then they are not yet cooked.
  3. Remove your tea bags and stir 3 tablespoons of honey. If the tea is still hot, let the tea sit for 10 more minutes until it reaches room temperature.
  4. Scoop 3/4 tablespoons of your tapioca pearls into 2 glasses and pour tea, while leaving room for your milk and ice.
  5. Add 2 tablespoons of milk into each cup and stir. If you prefer to have a milkier tea then add another tablespoon of milk into each cup.
  6. Finally, top with a few ice cubes and serve with wide tapioca straws.
