Description: Mong Lee Shang Dumpling Pastry 萬里香牌 水餃皮 450g — round wheat wrappers for making proper Chinese jiaozi at home. These are thicker and more robust than wonton wrappers, turning pleasingly chewy and slightly translucent when boiled, which is exactly what you want for water dumplings, potstickers and gyoza. Each 450g pack holds around 50 sheets, enough for a serious dumpling session. Keep a pack in the freezer and homemade dumplings are never far away.

Tuk Tuk Method: Place a spoonful of filling in the centre, wet the edge, fold and pinch to seal. Boil until they float, plus a minute more. Or pan-fry potsticker-style: crisp the base, add water to cover a third, lid on, and steam until the water has evaporated. Serve with black vinegar, soy and chilli oil.
