Description: Also known as Lo Bak Go, this savoury turnip cake (radish cake) lo bak go is a very traditional dish often served at dim sum houses. Chinese families will often have it around Chinese New Year to bring luck to the family.
Tuk Tuk Method: Slice and gently fry until golden crispy brown on the exterior. Can be complemented with chilli oil. Can also steam.
Ingredients: White Radish, Rice Flour, Wheat Starch, Water, Chinese Sausage, Preserved Chinese Bacon, Chinese Mushroom, Dried Scallops, Dried Shrimp, Brown Sugar, Garlic, Shallots, Oil. Seasoning: Ground White Pepper, Shaoshing Wine, Monosodium Glutamate (E621), Salt, Chicken Powder, Sesame Oil, Sugar.
Storage: Keep refrigerated for up to 5 days.

I am being critical I know.
Pros: Store bought, saving time. Also Dried Scallop topping, very rare and adding nice texture for the cake. Quite oily, so no need to add more oil for panfried.
Cons: The toppings are very lose on top of the turnip cake, not enough turnip ( usual problem with store bought cake). Quite oily.
I was so excited to see that I could order homemade raddish cake. It was delicious.
It got a lots ingredients which up the taste of turlip cake in next level.
