Lobo Laab-Namtok Seasoning Mix 35g

Description: Lobo laab namtok seasoning mix 35g is the quick way to make Thailand's famous North-Eastern minced meat salad at home. Laab (also spelt larb) is a tangy, spicy salad from E-san, built on toasted rice, dried chilli, lime and herbs, and it is traditionally eaten with warm sticky rice. This packet blends roasted glutinous rice with chilli, garlic, shallot and coriander seed, so you only add minced meat, fish sauce and fresh herbs. One packet seasons about 300g of meat, enough for two to share.

Tuk Tuk Method: Stir-fry 300g minced chicken, pork or beef with 60ml water until cooked, then mix in the packet and add fish sauce to taste. Finish with sliced shallots, mint leaves and spring onion, and serve with sticky rice and raw vegetables. The same mix also works in a namtok grilled steak salad.
