Description: Siu mai are the open-topped stars of any dim sum basket, and Royal Gourmet’s pork and prawn 豬肉燒賣 bring the teahouse experience to your own steamer. Each dumpling is packed with seasoned minced pork and prawn in a thin yellow wrapper, finished with a roe topping. They cook straight from frozen in about 12 minutes — no defrosting, no faff. Fifteen pieces to a 310g pack, so there is plenty for a weekend dim sum spread.

Tuk Tuk Method: Steam from frozen for 10–12 minutes and serve with soy and chilli oil. Build a full dim sum spread with char siu bao and a pot of jasmine tea. A bamboo steamer is lovely, but a pan with a rack works fine.

Storage: Keep frozen. Cook from frozen; do not refreeze once defrosted.
