Tteokbokki (also spelt ddukbokki, ddeokbokki, dukbokki or topokki) is a beloved Korean dish with many variations and a rich history. Translated as “stir-fried rice cake”, this spicy rice cake dish is enormously popular as a street food and is also enjoyed at home. It’s so good once you get a taste, you’ll be craving more!
Tuk Tuk Method: 1. Pour 100ml of water into a pot and when the water boils, add rice cake and sauce and mix. Then simmer over heat for 6-8 minutes. 2. You can also add garnish, such as green onion, red pepper paste, cheese, or boiled egg, according to your taste!
