Description: DBNS Brand Colour Waxy Corn - Mottled 220g is a ready-cooked cob of mottled waxy corn from Northeast China, with multi-coloured kernels. Waxy corn sits halfway between sweetcorn and sticky rice in texture — mildly sweet, nutty and pleasingly chewy — and this one comes fully cooked, so it only needs heating through. A popular snack cob across China, and a change from ordinary sweetcorn.
Tuk Tuk Method: Steam for 10-15 minutes. Eat on the cob with a pinch of salt, or slice off the kernels for fried rice, congee and salads.
Storage: Store in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight, once opened keep refrigerated and use within 1 day.
