Description: East Asia Brand beancurd sheets 東亞牌腐竹片 200g are soft dried tofu skin sheets, made from the delicate skin that forms on simmering soy milk. Also known as yuba sheets, they turn pliable after a short soak and take on the flavour of whatever they are cooked with. Cut them into ribbons for stir-fries, wrap them around seasoned fillings for beancurd rolls, or simmer them in soups and braises. A store-cupboard staple for Chinese vegetarian cooking.

Tuk Tuk Method: Soak in lukewarm water for 15-20 minutes until soft, then cut to size. Stir-fry ribbons with celery, carrot and mushrooms, or wrap a spiced minced pork and prawn filling and steam for dim sum-style beancurd rolls. The sheets can also be layered and braised for vegetarian goose.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep in an airtight container and use within 1 month.
