Fresh Kaffir Lime Leaves (Thai) 50g

Description: Fresh kaffir lime leaves — also called makrut lime leaves — are the glossy, double-lobed leaves behind the bright citrus perfume of Thai green curry and tom yum. Fresh beats dried every time: the aromatic oils are far more intense, so two or three leaves is usually enough. Tear them, or shred finely to release the flavour; whole leaves can be simmered and fished out like a bay leaf. Our Thai leaves arrive fresh and fragrant, delivered across the UK, and they freeze brilliantly if you cannot use the whole 50g at once.

Tuk Tuk Method: Shred finely into green or panang curry. Simmer whole in tom yum or tom kha. Slice hair-thin over Thai fish cakes, salads or larb.

Storage: Keep refrigerated and use within a week, or freeze in a sealed bag for up to six months.
