J-Basket Udon Noodles (Japanese Style Noodles) 200g

Description: J-Basket udon noodles are thick, chewy Japanese wheat noodles — the kind served in a steaming bowl of dashi or stir-fried as yaki udon. Unlike egg noodles, udon are made from wheat flour, water, a little starch and salt, which gives them their soft bounce and mild flavour that carries broths and sauces so well. One 200g pack serves one generously.

Tuk Tuk Method: Simmer in hot dashi with spring onion and tempura for kake udon. Stir-fry with soy, mirin, pork and cabbage for yaki udon. Or drop into a nabemono hotpot at the table and let them drink up the broth.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
