Description: Eommachan Spicy Crispy Chilli Oil (Halal) 210g. The hotter, more Sichuan-leaning of the pair. Chilli flakes, crisp fried peanuts and green peas sit in seasoned oil with sesame and Chinese prickly ash, so alongside the heat you get the faint citrus tingle that Sichuan pepper gives, and the peas add a lighter, drier crunch than nuts alone. Noticeably saltier and punchier than the nutty version, at 1.73g of salt per 100g against 0.87g, so it works as a seasoning in its own right rather than only a topping. Spoon it over noodles, dumplings, rice, fried eggs or cold tofu, or stir it through a dipping sauce. Halal certified.
