Lobo Red Curry Paste 50g

Description: Lobo Red Curry Paste 50g is a proper Thai red curry paste from one of Thailand's best-known seasoning brands. The blend leads with dried chilli, then lemongrass, galangal, garlic, shallot and kaffir lime peel, with shrimp paste for depth — everything a red curry needs in one 50g sachet. Fry it in a splash of coconut cream until fragrant, then add coconut milk and your meat or vegetables. One sachet makes a curry for two to three people.

Tuk Tuk Method: Fry the paste in a little coconut cream for a minute, add the rest of the tin, then simmer with chicken, beef, prawns or cubed firm tofu. Bamboo shoots, green beans and Thai basil all sit well in it. In Bangkok the same paste makes kaeng phet kai (red chicken curry) — serve with steamed jasmine rice.
