Description: This Nishiki medium grain sushi rice 10kg bag is the everyday workhorse of Japanese home cooking. The grains cook up gently sticky and glossy with a clean, neutral flavour, so seasoned sushi vinegar coats every grain evenly — ideal for maki rolls, nigiri, onigiri and chirashi bowls. Beyond sushi, it's a brilliant everyday Japanese rice for rice bowls and Japanese curry, and the 10kg bag is good value for households that get through rice quickly.

Tuk Tuk Method: Rinse until the water runs almost clear, then cook with roughly 1 part rice to 1.1 parts water. Fold seasoned sushi vinegar through the warm rice for rolls and nigiri. Or serve it plain under katsu curry, teriyaki or a donburi topping.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, reseal the bag well or decant into an airtight container.
