Description: Nissin Five Spice Beef Noodles 100g is the Hong Kong edition of Demae Ramen's most aromatic flavour. The broth pairs a beefy base with five spice — star anise, cinnamon and warm pepper — plus a sachet of seasoning oil to stir through at the end. It is the pack many Hong Kong households grew up with, and it cooks in three minutes. A desk lunch or late-night bowl that tastes like more work than it is.
Tuk Tuk Method: Simmer the noodles in 500ml of boiling water for 3 minutes, pour over the soup base and stir through the seasoning oil. Top with a fried egg and spring onions. Or add sliced beef and pak choi for a fuller meal.
