Tuk Tuk Method: Serves 4. Wash and rinse 225g (8oz) rice then place in a pan and add about 200 ml (1/3 pint) cold water with a pinch of salt. Bring to boil then reduce heat to very low, blend well and bring to boil again. Reduce heat to very low and simmer for about 25-30 minutes until rice becomes a smooth thick gruel.
