Description: Squid Brand Fish Sauce 725ml is the cult Thai fish sauce with the famous squid on the label — though there is no squid in the bottle, just anchovy extract, salt and sugar. Squid Brand fish sauce is bolder and smokier than standard nam pla, with an intense savoury depth that has made it a favourite of Thai chefs. A few drops season a whole wok of stir-fried vegetables, a pot of tom yum or a dipping sauce, so one bottle lasts for months even in a busy kitchen.
Tuk Tuk Method: Season pad thai, green curry and tom yum with a few dashes instead of salt. Mix with lime juice, chilli and a little sugar for a classic Thai dipping sauce. Or splash over fried rice with a squeeze of lime for instant depth.
