Description: X.O Palm Sugar Blocks 500g is natural Thai palm sugar pressed into firm, crumbly blocks. Palm sugar gives a rounded, caramel-like sweetness that plain white sugar cannot match, which is why so many Thai recipes call for it by name. Shave or chop off what you need and melt it gently into sauces, curries and dressings. A 500g pack keeps well in the cupboard.
Tuk Tuk Method: Melt into Thai red curry to balance the chilli heat. Stir into som tam (green papaya salad) dressing with lime juice and fish sauce. Or grate over mango sticky rice.
Ingredients: Palm sugar 95%, Refined sugar 5%.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place. Once opened, keep in airtight container.
