Description: Sour jujube seed 酸棗仁 is a dried Chinese ingredient that is steeped in hot water as a tea or simmered with meat in slow-cooked soups. Dried sour jujube seeds (酸棗仁, suan zao ren), 100% sour jujube seed, from the Xianyitang (仙逸堂) 'Chinese Specialties' (中華特產) range. Made by Zhongshan Xianyitang Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. (Zhongshan, Guangdong); country of origin China.
Tuk Tuk Method: Infuse an appropriate amount in hot water for 15 minutes, or boil in a pot for 5 minutes, before drinking. Alternatively, simmer with meat and other ingredients.
