Description: Asian Home Gourmet Spice Mix for Singapore Coconut Rice (Nasi Lemak) 50g. Nasi Lemak, also known as steamed coconut rice, is a traditional Malay rice dish that is very popular in Singapore. The fragrant rice is cooked in rich coconut milk and usually eaten with chicken, ikan bilis (anchovies), eggs, pickled vegetables and a dollop of spicy sambal chilli! This pack contains the essential spice mix to make authentic Singapore coconut rice at home!
Tuk Tuk Method: Mix 500g of uncooked rice, 670ml of water, 1 tbsp of oil and Asian Home Gourmet Spice Mix for Singapore Coconut Rice in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and stir once. Reduce heat, cover and cook for 20 minutes or until cooked. Leave to stand for 5 minutes. Stir to mix. Garnish and serve hot with cooked eggs, fish or chicken and enjoy!
