Description: Yuquan Preserved Mustard Stem with Black Fungus 鱼泉木耳榨菜 80g is a packet of zha cai — the Sichuan preserved mustard stem that is salty, crunchy and lightly spiced, here mixed with slivers of black fungus. In English it is usually called preserved mustard stem or Sichuan pickle, and it is the little foil packet that makes a plain bowl of rice or congee worth eating.
Tuk Tuk Method: Tip straight over congee or steamed rice. Stir-fry with shredded pork for zha cai rou si and pile onto noodles. Rinse briefly first if you prefer a milder salt hit.
