Description: NAT Kishu Salted Plum Pieces 紀州鹽津梅條 150g is a tub of Chinese preserved plum strips — plums cured with salt, sugar and a hint of liquorice until sweet, salty and sour all at once. Kishu in the name nods to Japan's old Kii province, famous for its plums, though this style of cured plum is a classic Chinese snack. The pieces are soft and chewy with a proper tang, and the resealable tub keeps them fresh.
Tuk Tuk Method: Eat straight from the tub as a sweet-and-salty snack. Steep a few strips in hot water or green tea for a salted plum drink. Or chop finely and stir through dressings and dipping sauces for a tangy edge.
