Description: Rose Brand White Rice Flour 玫瑰牌水磨粘米粉 500g is finely milled rice flour — made from rice alone. It is the flour behind rice noodles, steamed rice cakes (chwee kueh), turnip cake and countless Asian desserts, and it thickens sauces without the chalkiness of wheat flour. The 500g bag suits regular home cooking.
Tuk Tuk Method: Mix with water and a little tapioca starch for homemade rice noodle sheets or cheung fun. Steam with sugar and yeast for fa gao (prosperity cakes). Or blend into tempura-style batters for a lighter, crisper fry.
