Description: Frozen Royal Gourmet Mini Glutinous Rice 糯米珍珠雞 (4pcs) 520g is pearl chicken, the dim sum classic also known as mini lo mai gai. Tender marinated chicken is coated in glutinous rice, wrapped in lotus leaf and steamed, so the rice turns pearly and slightly sticky while soaking up the savoury juices. Each pack holds four pieces, with bamboo shoot, shiitake mushroom and Chinese sausage in the mix. Steam from frozen and serve as part of a dim sum spread, or as a light meal on its own.

Tuk Tuk Method: Remove the wrapping film, place the tray in a pot with 1 litre of cold water, lid on, bring to the boil and steam for 30 minutes until piping hot — a bamboo steamer works too. Serve in the lotus leaf with siu mai and har gow for a weekend yum cha at home, or with a bowl of congee for breakfast.
