Description: Kain-Na chicharon pork crunch is a Filipino-style pork scratching: pork rind fried until puffed and crisp, then seasoned for a salty, savoury bite. In the Philippines it is known as chicharon or kiap moo, eaten as a snack with drinks or crushed over rice dishes for texture. Think of it as the lighter, airier Filipino cousin of the British pork scratching. The 100g bag is made for sharing.
Tuk Tuk Method: Eat straight from the bag with a cold drink, dipped in spiced vinegar with chopped chilli and shallot, the Filipino way. Crush over pancit, garlic rice or congee for crunch. Or chop into a stir-fry at the end for salty crackling bits.
Storage: Keep in a cool, dry place and avoid direct sunlight. Reseal after opening to keep them crisp.
