Description: Kam Kee Pork & Prawn Siu Mai 燒賣 850g is a freezer-fill pack of the dim sum favourite. Siu mai are open-topped steamed dumplings, and these are filled with seasoned pork, prawn, chestnut and dried mushroom — meaty, juicy and a little sweet. They steam straight from frozen in 10 to 15 minutes, which makes them the quickest route to a proper dim sum spread at home. Serve as they are, or with soy sauce and chilli oil for dipping.

Tuk Tuk Method: Steam from frozen for the best result:

• Fill a steamer pot with water and bring it to the boil.
• Place the frozen siu mai on a heatproof plate or in a bamboo steamer lined with parchment, leaving space between each one.
• Set the plate or steamer above the water, cover, and steam for 10 to 15 minutes until piping hot throughout.
• Serve straight away with soy sauce, chilli oil or black vinegar for dipping.
• Cooking times vary between steamers — always follow the instructions on the packaging for the best results.
