Description: Mae Ploy Yellow Curry Paste 1kg. This Mae Ploy curry paste is a brilliant base for authentic Thai yellow curries. With lemongrass, garlic and galangal, it’s fragrant and has a beautiful bright yellow colour thanks to the turmeric. Thai yellow curry paste is milder than red and green curry pastes, as the main ingredient is garlic rather than chilli.
Tuk Tuk Method: Slice beef or chicken (250g), and add to a hot pan or wok with 240ml coconut milk together with a bit of this paste, stir fry until the oil separates and appears on top. Add 1 cup of water, bring to the boil, add potato and onion and cook until tender. Add fish sauce to taste, and serve with rice.
