Description: Mama noodles are among Thailand's most popular instant noodles, and MAMA Pork Flavour Instant Noodles 60g is the classic pack. The broth is mild and savoury — pork flavour rounded out with garlic, sesame and a gentle note of chilli — so it suits almost everyone. The thin wheat noodles are ready in a couple of minutes, which makes this one of the quickest lunches going. Good as it is, and even better with an egg cracked in.
Tuk Tuk Method: Add boiling water to the noodles and seasoning, cover and leave for 2-3 minutes. Crack in an egg for the last minute, or top with sliced spring onions and a dash of white pepper. Leftover roast pork or char siu turns it into a fuller bowl.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
