Description: Rose Brand Rice Stick (5mm) 400g is a pack of classic Thai rice stick noodles — the flat, tagliatelle-width noodle used for pad thai. Made from rice flour and water, they are naturally gluten-free, with a soft, slightly chewy bite that soaks up sauce. Rice stick noodles are simply flat rice noodles, and the 5mm cut is the all-rounder size for stir-fries, soups and salads. Rose Brand is a trusted Thai name for everyday noodles.
Tuk Tuk Method: Soak in room-temperature water (no hotter than 35°C) for 40-60 minutes until pliable, then stir-fry into pad thai with tamarind, fish sauce and palm sugar. For noodle soups and broths, add the soaked noodles for the last couple of minutes before serving. This cut also works well for Singapore-style fried rice noodles.
