Description: Tean's Gourmet kari ayam paste 田師傅 咖哩雞即煮醬料 is a Malaysian ready-to-cook paste for chicken curry, with curry powder, lemongrass, galangal, ginger and curry leaf already blended in. Kari ayam simply means chicken curry, and tumisan means it goes straight into the wok: no grinding spices, no long ingredient list. One 200g packet flavours 1.5kg of chicken and potatoes, so it comfortably feeds a family. The result is a proper Malaysian-style curry — fragrant, warmly spiced and medium in heat — in about 25 minutes.

Tuk Tuk Method: 1. Add 1 packet of Tean's Gourmet paste, 1.5kg chicken pieces and 2 potatoes cut into wedges to a wok. Mix and fry for 5 minutes over a medium heat. 2. Add 250-500ml water and simmer gently for 15 minutes, until the chicken and potatoes are cooked. 3. Stir in 200ml coconut milk, bring to a quick boil and serve hot with rice or roti.

Storage: Store in a cool dry place, refrigerate once opened.
