Description: Tean's Gourmet Sambal Tumis Spicy Sauce For Stir Fry 田師傅 參巴醬 200g is a Malaysian fried sambal — chilli (30%) cooked down with onion, garlic and a little shrimp paste until rich and glossy. Sambal tumis simply means stir-fried sambal, and this one is ready to use straight from the packet: properly spicy, slightly sweet and deeply savoury. It is the sambal that goes with nasi lemak.
Tuk Tuk Method: Serve as it is with coconut rice, fried anchovies, peanuts and egg for nasi lemak. Fry with prawns or squid for sambal udang. Stir-fry through kangkung (water spinach), green beans or fried tofu for an instant vegetable dish.
