Description: Bai Zhi 白芷 is dried angelica root (Angelica dahurica), sold as slices for Chinese-style soups and stews. It has a strong, aromatic flavour, so a few slices go a long way when simmered with chicken or pork bones. Sulphur-free; made by an ISO9001 certified manufacturer, Zhongshan Xianyitang Traditional Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. Product of China.
Tuk Tuk Method: Wash before use. Suitable for Chinese-style soups, stews and slow-cooked dishes. Bai Zhi has a strong aromatic flavour, so use sparingly. It can be simmered with chicken, pork bones, beef or other dried ingredients. Remove after cooking or eat according to personal preference.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep sealed and avoid odour transfer.
