Asian coffee has its own proud traditions — strong, sweet and built around the instant sachet — and this collection is a tour of them: Vietnamese G7, Malaysian Ipoh white coffee, Indonesian Kopiko and the 3-in-1 mixes that fuel mornings from Hanoi to Hong Kong.

Vietnam drinks some of the strongest coffee in the world, and Trung Nguyen's G7 is its most famous export: a 3-in-1 with real backbone, plus a pure black instant for those who take it straight. Malaysian white coffee is the gentler ritual — beans roasted with margarine, brewed smooth and mixed with condensed milk; Old Town and Home's Cafe make the classic Ipoh versions, in classic, hazelnut and less-sugar. Kopiko brings Indonesia's coffee-shop flavour to sachets and, famously, to the little coffee candies that taste like an espresso boiled sweet.
